The Believe Learning Institute (BLI) is dedicated to school improvement through the delivery of a high-quality and evidence-based training offer for the career development of teaching and support colleagues across The Dean Trust. Our mission is to provide a platform for continual growth and to provide the best professional development opportunities for all our colleagues across various career stages. The Believe Learning Institute is dedicated to school improvement through the delivery of high-quality professional learning and development programmes for our entire workforce , as well as the wider profession. We pride ourselves on meeting our People Strategy values of being diverse, inclusive, compassionate, ambitious, dynamic and innovative in our approach to professional learning and development.
Our core offer is built on the expertise of our Trust Improvement partnerships and nationally accredited professional learning programmes, which include National Professional Qualification and Early Careers development. The BLI is extending its professional learning opportunities to include further training in Safeguarding, IT, Governance, Health & Safety and People Management; our mission is to deliver a platform for continual growth and development to provide the best opportunities.
We also provide school centred initial teacher training through the AoM SCITT and are the hub for Turning North West Maths Hub, who are funded by the Department of Education and coordinated by the National Centre of Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM).
